Just East of Texas
Dangerous
Deadly
Harmful
Disaster
Many lives turned upside down
Yet no hope is lost
And the candle of their spirit lights strong

As they maintain themselves through their roots of jazz
One by one
Their vision is restored to color
Yet too many remain in black and white
