Past Look on a Heart of Stone
In your eyes I saw a new beginning.
Something to look forward to.
I was wrong.
In you I saw no more pain.
I was wrong.
Next to where I stand, I see there is no future for us.
This where I say goodbye.
You killed hope and I buried it, like I buried the memories I have of you.
When I see you, I see broken promises. You are like Medusa, you turn who ever looks at you to stone.
This is a promise, I’m out of your life.
So I just say so long and goodnight.
