I am homeless,

Its not an easy life for me

Getting kicked out at the age of fifteen,

was no fun.
Life can seem painless for some but,

not for me.

Searching for food in garbage cans is gross,

but I cant help my hunger.

Drinking sullied water is revolting and nauseating.

I am covered in torn and unclean clothing.

Using the bathroom in public is very discomforting.

Finding food is a mission and almost impossible,

Finding clean water is just as hard maybe even harder.

My Body aches as I walk in search of food.

A cold breeze brushes against my skinny body and I shiver.

This is what I face everyday, because I am homeless.
