I loathe this feeling of uncertainty-
the heavy weight of broken hearts
endlessly crushing down on me,
while I dream of drifting away.
I’ll fall through time and memories,
I’ll fall through rain and roses
to smell the grass, to see the sun,
to taste your lips and feel your touch.
Just once, I’ll go dancing with you
I’ll twirl and glide through the moonlight.
