In the Moonlight
In the moonlight
You are so bright and beautiful
Your pain and scars do not show but we know they are there
Like the moon you have a big heart
But it has fallen to pieces because of scars that never left
Why will you hid it to make others feel good?
Why do we need that love you show us?
Who is that person that is like the sun that keeps you shining at your best?
Is it your friends who put you down when you turn your back?
Or the people who show you love at every minute, hour, day, and year?
In the moonlight,
you are what you are
you are so bright and beautiful
your pain and scars do not show but we know they are there.
