Tigers and Dragonflies
Freely falling, Slowly floating,
Blinking…Sinking…Drinking down the darkness…
Peaceful, calm, relaxing my mind.
Slipping under the wave called weariness,
Letting dream spirits take my hand,
Leading me into an imaginary land.
I walk with tigers,
Over a lake of frozen glass,
To a field where dragonflies amass.
The scent of pine and peppermint,
Mixed with the color of lilies and roses,
The touch of grass under my bare feet.
A slight shimmer, a shattering star dotted sky…
The sun rises and reality returns…
A dark, dreary day begins…
