I never thought this day would come
Never knew you possessed this inside
You tell me try harder when I try my best
It’s always the negatives and never the positives
What I do is never good enough for you….and that bothers me
I shouldn’t have to go through this and yet I do
I wonder if you know the ways you’ve hurt me emotionally
You’ve crushed my spirit and made me feel useless
I wonder if you know how I feel or what I think
But the truth is you don’t
I wonder if you would care if I told you
You would probably tell me to get over myself
I realized I tell you to stop
I can’t continue to let you keep hurting me
It’s time to say enough is enough
I don’t want to kick you out of my life permanently
But it’s the way you keep pushing...never in a good way
That makes me want to give up and cry….
