Not a Morning Person

As I open my eyes
Bits of sunrise cling to the sky
Never awake this early
My head aches as it adjusts to this new time
Called morning
Pieces of yesterday stuck in my hair
The rest of the pieces have all run away with the sun
Consumed by the silence of 7AM
I go to turn on some music
Then I change my mind, might wake the others
Change out of my PJs
And into today
