Hey there my darling dear,
Stop your thoughts a moment,
Rest your head as I hold you near,
Just listen to my words.
You’re not sleeping,
I can see it in your eyes.
The choices you are choosing,
Are turning your world upside down.
It was easy to be with me,
But who says life’s easy anyway?
It’s harder just to be,
As you let them control your life.
Try to sleep my love,
Close your eyes,
And dream of the dreams we dreamt of,
When we were free.
Be safe, my dear.
Treasure yourself and....don’t forget to dream.
