My One and Only True Love
I'll Never forget the look
on His face
When I told him about the Future
I pictured us Married;
In a house with a white picket fence.
He loved the Idea,
But it Never Happened
I'll Never forget the look
on His face
That Dreaded day;
I look back on it now,
And realize, That
He's all I've ever had
He's all I've ever wanted.
And now I can Never have him.
I'll Never forget the look
on His face
When that Drunken Driver
Slammed
Into His Motorcycle
I flew off,
But He tried to hang on
It just didn't work
I'll Never forget the look
on His face
When he was lying there,
on the cold, hard concrete road
It wasn't his fault;
It just happened
I'll Never forget the look
on His face
While He was just lying
In that coffin, That seemed just so inviting
I wanted to be buried with him
So I would be with him forever,
But I knew it wouldn't happen.
I'll Never forget the look
on My face
When I saw him go Under Ground
His Picture, Still in My Mind.
Which Is Why I will Never Forget
My One and Only True Love
