Be you... don't pretend to be someone else.

I’d cook.
You’d clean.
We were so happy.
Or so It seemed.
We’d cuddle up in front of the TV.
Watching our favourite soaps.
Wrestling over who’s turn it was to get the remote.
But I never took notice of what was happening before me.
I guess I was lost in your brown eyes watching me.
Your beautiful smile.
And your soft tanned cheeks.
Sometimes I even asked myself what were you doing with me?
It wasn’t perfect at all it was just me who was falling too deep.
I bought us popcorn and a movie of your choice.
For valentines day to watch together and a card and flowers.
I probably wrote I love you a thousand times I was such a fool as if you didn’t know.
As usual the game was on me but I was so blind to see.
I walked in to find you was with her instead of me.
Watching our favourite valentine’s movie.
On our couch.
Wrestling over the remote just like she was me.
No matter how blind I was I didn’t think you were that cruel
To put me in the backseat how blind was I ..why didn’t I see?
