Are You Listening?

Are you listening?
Broken hearts that won’t heal
Love that is forever long
Passion that is so deep
When it comes time you can’t let go
Courage to do what you want
Feelings that are emerging
Being on top of the world
And then brought down
Escaping from life
And expectations
Staying so strong in appearance
With hidden weaknesses
Making a connection so deeply
Songs inspire, guide, get you through the day
Which one will you listen to?
