"Life is a complicated journey. It's like you're on a roller coaster and you have a blind fold on so that you can't see the twists and turns that are up ahead."

Feel the rhythm
Pounding of hooves
Dirt chunks flying
Heart beats racing
Carefully turn
Lightning like speed
Flying changes
Precision turns
Ground is shaking
Hear the thunder
Muscles ripple
Tendons flexing
Glint of horseshoes
Shows threw the dust
Perfect balance
Do not fall off
‘Round the barrel
The final turn
Last burst of speed
Break the timeline
Hope that you win!

My creative writing teacher had us write a poem that had to have between 3 and 5 syllables per line. This one has exactly 4 syllables in each line. Try tapping out the beat as you read it, you may get a better feeling from it.
