Look at me straight into my vacant eyes
Hold my shaking hands as the breathtaking sunset dies
Tell me you love me, before you turn and walk away
Fall back into my lifeless arms and fill me with empty promises that everything will be okay
Let’s save this heartbreak for another painstaking night
Instead let’s express our love with the knives and drown ourselves in “heavens” light
What’s more romantic than bloodshed amongst a bed of roses?
What’s more flawless than bullet holes decorating our dying poses?
How did we come to this? Am I the one to blame?
My mind is clouded with our memories as I suffocate from my shame
I’ll feed your starving, shattered heart with thousands of meaningless apologies
I’ll poison your thoughts with embellished tales of adultery and hypocrisy
Oh my one and only, you know it’s never too late
Star-crossed lovers, we were destined to meet by fate
Lets torch this town and watch the flames swallow the forgotten city
And wrap ourselves in the passion of the flames while we write each other love songs out of pity
