Age is but a number
A label
A daunting reminder of your life to date

So why is a simple number
So important to some

Age shouldn’t hinder one’s life
Shouldn’t steal away true meaning
Shouldn’t destroy true love

For age
Is but a number
A simple
Little
Number

My inspiration spawned from a crush. I guy whom I had begun to fall for. A guy who is three years younger than me. My mom disapproved of it, and I didn't see why.
