It's Jazz This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

Saxes wailin
Trumpets screamin
Trombone slides flyin
Rhythm section drivin

With a
Bop daut do-be-do wah
Shoo ba diddley do
It fills your soul
Consumes you
Brings you to an alternate reality
Never wanna leave
It feels good
Might not understand it
But can't give it up

It's like an addiction
You just can't stop
You're hooked for life
There's just no hope
It's never enough

But it's love at first note
Those bone-crushing
Blood-curdling chords
Softly resolving to a sweet
Catchy melody
It's amazing
It's perfection
It's jazz
