when it all comes crashing down
at the end of the world
while everyone else is running
screaming for god to save them
protecting their children
and doing what they should be
i will be walking
arms spread wide
smiling,
tears running down my eyes
and with my final breath, i will kiss the sky

I'm a poet by trade, and I live my life knowing that at the end of the day i will write. I'm currently running a small page on Facebook.com, Called "True Illusions", that has some of my work and the work of several other young people from my area up for the world to see. I consider this the best poem I have ever written.
