Who is Alive, and Well
Pitiful being,
Why do you weep?
Have I not supplied food?
And shelter?
Have I no clothed your bare back?
Sweep your doorstep clean
Of all the lost memories.
Is this not enough?
To simply be alive?
Are you greedy,
Little one.
Do you desire gold and riches and fancy rings?
But this is not possible, of course.
No, no, no.
Scurry away, worthless being.
Back into your little hole.
Back into your hidey-place.
Be a coward, pitiful little being,
Rid me of your meaningless presence on the Earth.
