The rain,
It falls upon my face
Blending with my tears,
The tears,
That fall,
Are for you,
But you will never care,
You will never glance my way,
And see how much I want,
for your smile to be for me,
Instead of someone else,
The storm it rages on,
And yet I feel no cold,
Nor can I ever really feel the sun,
The numbness,
overtakes me,
Just when I think I'm fine,
And so it will be,
That I am right here,
And as you are passing by,
You will not look into my eyes,
For you know what you will see,
The misery,
That is killing me,
And slowly,
Oh so slowly,
My heart is hardening,
So that one day,
When you do want me,
It is you I will not see.
It falls upon my face
Blending with my tears,
The tears,
That fall,
Are for you,
But you will never care,
You will never glance my way,
And see how much I want,
for your smile to be for me,
Instead of someone else,
The storm it rages on,
And yet I feel no cold,
Nor can I ever really feel the sun,
The numbness,
overtakes me,
Just when I think I'm fine,
And so it will be,
That I am right here,
And as you are passing by,
You will not look into my eyes,
For you know what you will see,
The misery,
That is killing me,
And slowly,
Oh so slowly,
My heart is hardening,
So that one day,
When you do want me,
It is you I will not see.
