"Insanity runs in my family, it practically gallops" -Robert Frost

Crying now, alone and afraid,
Darkness settles in like the day,
It's mucky and damp,
The cool breaze sends shivers down my spine,
Looking for some type of escape,
Soon to realize its my mental entrapment,
I'm lost in a never ending maze,
All of which is my mind,
How does one overcome their own mind?
How do you bring lighting into that of which has been forever dark?
Please someone find the key, to all of my insanity.
Release me of my pain, and into the bright, blue skyed days.

Nothing Less.

I really like your writing. It speaks to me, even though there's nothing astounding about it (sorry). I just... FEEL it.

this poem reminded me of evanescence's two songs "wake me up inside" and "breathe no more"
