A normal day
is filled with many spills,
some accidental, some not.
The shattering of a beer bottle
against the brick wall,
or the accidental
spill of milk.
as the day progresses,
you cannot deny
that there are many spills,
and they are dried up
with towels.
The towel sits on the rod
Until it is needed.
It dries up the spill, and saves the day.
A valiant hero.
But towels know
which spills to clean,
Which ones to respect.
For the more a towel dries,
the wetter it gets.
So, just in case there are any spills today,
Keep a towel handy.

My favorite part of the poem is the middle. The beginning was confusing a bit but over all I love it just like all your other work!

This poem made me feel weird for a few seconds after I finished reading it. lol. But that's a good thing. This poem was EXTREMELY creative, and I haven't seen anything like it before

Wow! This is great! I especially like the beginning, 'a normal day'. I also love 'Yielding, Absorbant'. Great use of enjambment througout, and your use of punctuation.
Keep up the good work. I'm waiting for your next poem. :)

thanks you very much!! I'm not much of a poet (lol) so this was me trying something new. My prose is usually better. But I'm glad you liked it!

I know :( "Order 423" and "The inspiration has left me" has made it to the front page a few times, but not to the magazine yet. Keep rating and tell other people to comment and rate! Thanks!
