School sucks
Homework is terrible
Teachers run amuck
It’s unbearable to read pointless parables
Day and night stuck the plight
In the fight for grades
To have the right to say I can go to college
So I can further my knowledge
Never sleeping always working
Finals are near always lurking
Up and down in and out
There’s no time to cry and pout
School measures a student's will
Not their smarts or their skill
There’s nothing better than getting an A
Not cheating but the right way
Doing well everything at stake
To earn a three month long break
Ending in the summer starting in the fall
School may not be bad after all
