I am the night.

Howl of the wind,
ghostly light illuminates
the skeleton trees.
This is what we don't know,
care to know, need to know,
what we will know.
This is me.
This is me, the night, whom nobody knows,
or cares to know.
I am the light, the night, fading into the well worn day.
