My Mask
I hide behind a mask
a mask that covers all
even though you didn’t see the real me
you watched me break
saw me fall
as I fell down
a well of lies
you couldn’t see my face
didn’t watch me cry
the tears ran down my face
invisible to you
just screamed at me
told me I’ll always be your dumb fool
but I cant
cause you broke me
left me
here to die
everything I knew
just a complex lie
so I’ll take the lie
and let it fall down with me
cause some things need to go to the grave
and I know
I’ll never be saved
