The Glass Headed China Doll.
The glass headed baby
Was to heavy for my broken hands
I tried to lift her
She turned to sand
They spoke in languages
Forgein to my ears
I tried to grasp their knowledge
So I could understand their cures.
When she turned to me
Her body was to heavy to hold
I tried not to drop her
But my weak hands couldn't with hold.
She broke into pieces
As her mother cried
I shattered the glass headed baby
I shattered the love in her mothers eyes.

The reason I named this poem 'The Glass Headed China Doll' is because I vividly remember the child in my dream as a little girl, and she was from china because I couldn't understand her when she spoke to me- her language was foreign.
