Why is it called Midnight, if it's the start of the morning?

I can't even imagine what sleep feels like.
Right now
it's becoming easier
and easier
to ignore the double vision
the two images
so similar and so different
one fake and one real
people will try to tell you
the real image is the one you can touch,
but I beg to differ.
Not that I have anyone to argue with.
Everyone is asleep
and I'm still sitting here.
Exhausted and about to fall asleep
typing my heart onto the page
until something good bleeds out.

I love writing stuff like this, except mine usually gets more unrelated and doesn't really go together... good job!

Holy cow this was a good poem! The ending was again the strongest part. Good job :)

I am a fan of strong endings, you know "going out with a bang". Haha. I'm like that in arguements. Always have the last word. Anyways, I'm glad you liked my poem!

love it!!! I feel the exact same way when I write late at night, except I prefer pen and paper then...yeah I'm just weird like that.

I use both pen and paper and laptop (slash iPod Touch. xD). It's just whatever is there. I'm also less likely to lose something if I'm typing it.

Just have to say, your titles are a crack-up:D

This is easy to relate to, staying up way past when you should, writing 'til something feels right. You caputred that perfectly in this poem, I could almost picture it.

:D I'm glad you like it.

My favorite part of writing poetry is coming up with titles. :3

Yes, for me, the title comes before the poem often. ♥
