lost for words
There she was sitting on her stairs
There she knew what was coming
Her life was apart rite before her eyes
She was there thinking what else could I lose
I’ve lost my house, my son, and my job
I feel as there is no point in living, as she told me
There I was lost for words, what could I say,
I had not experienced everything she had lost
All I could do is give her a hug as I walked away
