Digging The Past
As I see you, digging in the trash
Hoping to find some food,
Trying to remember how you got to this
I notice your dirty face, and muddy clothes with patches
Seeing how people are so shallow to not even look at you
But knowing that you are humble,
I took the chance of meeting you,
And as I got closer to you,
I notice how hard it is living without a home,
Hoping to forget the past and have a better future,
I stand through your struggle and hope for the best my friend
