The world spins around
and we’re told to conform,
and it’s hard to stand out
when we’re in uniform

I’ll write defiant letters,
That I’ll never send
Like oil and water
The world shouldn’t blend

and

I can only read my handwriting,
though scratchy and small,
it’s familiar and it’s beautiful,
and seems to say it all,

I’ll color the world
without repetition
And chaos will be
my sole ammunition

we’re not looking to to fight
we’re not looking to pry
we just wish to leave
footsteps on the sky

and

I can only read my handwriting,
though scratchy and small,
it’s familiar and it’s beautiful,
and seems to say it all,
