Things have changed a lot since I was a little girl
I used to get everything I wanted in the world
All the possible toys to play with inside
I used to sit around with tons of pride

The day my mom told me I didn’t know what to say
But I did know that it was a price I was going to have to pay
I wasn’t going to be “mommy’s little girl” anymore
Because I was going to be a big sister to a little one being born

My mom was having such odd dreams
That she was going to have twins who were Siamese
She got checked one last time
To find out that her baby was not one, but two partners in crime

It was the best news we have heard ever
But I knew that I had to be more clever
Because there were only 7 weeks to go
And I had to go with the flow

The day was here the monsters were their way
I had dreaded this day
But when these beautiful little twins were born
I was the happiest big sister in the world
