Nations fall, the earth will die
the end will surely come
The sun will set, not to rise again
light will be all but gone.
Darkness will shroud the world in night
clouds will blot out the sun
Cold will replace the warmth of life
the time of shadows has begun.
But do not fear that the end is near
for even though the day seems lost
Light will shine, once again
heat will melt death's frost.
Change will come and bring an end
to all hatred and all fear
Light will fall upon the earth
A new beginning is near.
