Tommy's Hat
Tommy was a little kid
His parents just got him a fresh lid
He fell in love with his hat at first sight
He would make sure to protect it with all his might
The hat was blue, white, and red
He even wore his hat to bed
He wore it in the summer; he wore it in the winter
He even wore it when he got his first splinter
Years passed by and the hat got old
The colors were no longer bright and bold
Tommy kept his hat until he was thirty
He could not clean it, it was too dirty
He got over it and that was that
Tommy bought his son a brand new hat
