Bad is Good compared to Worse.

What have we come to,

Someone find the button labeled undo,

Where’s the hero,

He needs to hit liftoff, we still haven’t left ground zero,

It seems we’ve lost all control,

Im still lost on why these decisions were made,

Cause I remember back in the second grade,

If we ever did anything stupid, it would always come back to us and that we will have paid,

Man those words were said,

To the point where my ears bled and my eyes became red,

It’s like the words were spoon-fed, until I began to dread every word that was said,

But it’s funny cause it’s what led most to try it in the first place, it’s what placed it in their heads.

What am I talking about? Well let’s take a quick poll,

What does it mean to be an intellectual?

It means you’re just a target of ridicule,

If you try to analyze life you’re a fool,

Only cool if you’re smoking, drinking, or dealing drugs at school,

So let’s pull that together in one quick step,

Simply, if you try to live a life as an intellect,

You become a target of disrespect,

While those who deal get respect,

Adding that together, our generation’s destination is total wreck,

From alcoholics to drug addicts,

Our generation seems to have all of it,

And there’s no way that in this darkness any light can be lit,

We’ve become too busy becoming a part of it to possibly ever have a chance to fix this s---,

So where we headed? Where we ganna go?

It’s an answer that it seems nobody wants to know,

Hiding behind our own problems, leading them to continue to grow,

Leading it to spiral out of control,

Im still lost on why these decisions were made,

Cause I remember back in the second grade,

If we ever did anything stupid, it would always come back to us and that we will have paid,

Man those words were said,

To the point where my ears bled and my eyes became red,

It’s like the words were spoon-fed, until I began to dread every word that was said,

But it’s funny cause it’s what led most to try it in the first place, it’s what placed it in their heads.
