Winds whirling, oceans churning
breathe in, breathe out.
It will be all right.
Faces mixing, faces turning
round and round and round
breathe in, breathe out.
It will all be over soon.
People talking screaming shouting
at you and at each other
breathe in, breathe out.
It will all stop soon.
Tossing, turning late at night
images unfurling left and right
breathe in, breathe out.
It's all okay.
No, it's not.
But let's pretend it is,
So for a little while, still,
I can hold out.
