I had a best friend,
Someone who loved me,
Someone who cared
About ME, who I was,
Not my outside.

Someone who gave the best advice.
Who was happy with me when I was laughed,
Who suffered with me when I cried.

That was a different time.
Now that best friend is no more.
She doesn’t care about who I AM,
What’s inside of me.
She just cares about herself.
