Wilt... (to become limp and drooping, as a fading flower) MAG

she is my rose,
we met in the springtime,
she bloomed and became,
while in the meantime,
I watched,
And sought,
to be close to her,
thinking of approaching her,
but choking first.
I'm soaked in verbs, like …
kissing, hugging,
missing, touching,
keeping, trusting,
needing, loving,
add “jective” words like,
usual, beautiful,
passionate, lasting-and-stuff …
(lol)
yeah that's right I keep her laughing and stuff
yet …
winter must come.

She is my rose,
And I am her sunlight,
feeding her some light,
tasting her bubblegum like,
YUM rite,
together we synthesize,
we photosynthesize,
I po' mo' heat and light,
and oxygen she provides.
we got a bond so tight,
it keeps all of mankind alive,
yet …
Winter must come

She is my rose,
We met in the springtime,
she bloomed and became,
The sun set on the Spring's time
it then rose in the summer,
more and more I would want her
playing hard just to win her
staying far from the winter
watering true love deep within her
yet …
winter must come

Springtime was great,
The summer only got better,
Oh, how I wish,
Summertime could last forever,
but it can't, because it's true, that
winter must come,
Time is bending my thumb,
My rose is my only one,
my only fun,
My only hon
my … one and only love,
yet …
winter must come

In every relationship,
and every year there's a fall
But me and my rose …
we skipped it all
we skipped the fake stuff and break-ups
the wait-ups to make-up ….
we skipped fall.
The winter season is near,
Cool breezes are here,
I pamper my rose,
I clamp her real close,
Because I'm so afraid,
afraid to let go …
yet …
Winter must come

Winter is here,
I watch her with fear,
I'm scared she will die,
as if the rest was a lie,
December came and passed,
January didn't last,
February went fast,
And my rose …
Is still here,
she never left,
She stayed through,
Unlike the rest.
Unlike my Daisy,
Who played me,
winter came,
She faded,
she withered,
her love slowly slithered away
but … THIS girl …

she is my rose,
we met in the springtime,
And she …
WILL NOT WILT!

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1

I loved how you took the idea of love, and people leaving, something so common, and tacked it to the idea of seasons changing. It is such a common allusion but the use of repetition and the way you worded it made it sound "graceful." However, i feel like when you said things like "(lol)," "YUM rite," and "I po' mo' heat" it interrupts the flow of the poem and sounds out of place.
