As I wait for you
I stare out the window
I see the blue sky
I see the green grass
As I wait for you
I smell the fresh made coffee
I taste the blueberry muffins
I hear the tip jar filling
As I wait for you
I hear the calm music
I hear the conversations
I hear the cars passing
As I wait for you
I see the people walking by
I see friends laughing
I see families celebrating
As I wait for you
I stare at the clock
I see the sky go dark
I watch the place go empty
But as I wait for you
I lose all excitement
Cause it seems that you
Are just a disappointment
