Living in Haiti is like living in a dark world
Where you may never see light.

Here we fight a never ending battle.

Eyes blood shot red from the tears we cry,
But all we can do is pray.

Pray about when.

When the struggle will end and our country will rise
As high as the sky.

When we will finally be at peace
And we will feel colorful and full of happiness
As though we are rainbows.

When all of our worries will vanish and never return,
Almost like a magic trick but we wont wonder how.

When life will finally be enjoyable
And the tears we cry will form into streams of joy.

When we will never have to hurt again.

We pray about when we will see a better day,
But until that day,
We pray about when.
