Weathering Clock

time continues
the clock ticks slowly
the seconds tick silently by
my eyes dart to and fro
searching the dark blue sky
the silver moon shines at night
offering help with its light
skin crawls with anticipation
as the wolf loudly calls
night turns to a burning day
and day into an endless night
days go by and years wear on
im still stuck searching the sky
time continues
and the seconds tick silently by
NOw i see after all this time
the answer was always in my grasp
indecision mine enemy
why does love never seem to last
