You dismissed my words
You kept just walking away

And i thought you were really supposed to love me
How could you do that to me
You said it would stop,it wouldn't happen again
Then you go
You keep doing it,
Drinking away your problems,away your pain
The pain you felt from hurting me
Wanting it to go away
Pushing me further and further from your mind
And i guess it worked
Because you had no idea who I was,
When your unconscious body,
Lay on the ground
And you rested,in my lap,your head
I had warned you,
But you wouldn't listen
I was afraid for you,
As I watched you in your drunken stupor
Every time you fell,
I ran to help
When you mumbled under your breath
I just caressed your face gently with my hands
Because you had no idea what you were saying
In your attempt to,
Drown your problems away
You failed
You just hurt me more
You ended up handing me your pain
