Un-named poem # 2.
Un-named poem # 2.
I wish you’d crack the glass around your eyes
I want nothing more than to see behind,
The adjustment and processing
That takes place in the glass blocking me from your insides
No one would hear the words you’d whisper in my ears
The tears that have started to disinigrate your teeth
Nor the smile that’s been stuck in your throat
The way you struggle to define the emotion of love
If you’d spare a taste of your lips
I’d wrap my tongue around your sin
Sugar must be the only thing left behind from a broken miracle
Since it’s the only thing passed through our mouths
