She looks up and notices
Teardrops racing down your face
And the need of someone
To hug the troubles away
This embrace
Like bleach
Removing the sadness instantly
Filling that space with love
Everything around you is silenced
All your focus on the comfort
Of the one holding you
Letting you know that
They’re always there

Your crying fades
You breathe deeply
Filling
Not just your lungs
But your heart with warmth
The sky was full of clouds
But now you see a rainbow
You look at each other now
Her eyes singing of happiness
Reassuring you that
She really does care

As your heart misses a beat
Happiness takes over your body
Your eyes are the ocean
Deep blue
Still Wet
Your sadness as far away
As the sun
You feel much better
Knowing the next time
That you feel down
Love
Can change everything
