Scouring tea pots for just that last drop
Hovering lovers, what will they bring?
To your tainted, hated, traded heart
For something a little more
light

The ghost isn’t gone
Of course she’s still here
Transparent and lovely maybe
But she will haunt
You tonight while you sleep

Your heavy heart is weighing you down
The shore set too far
Dance with me in the moonlight
Until I melt in your clubbed hands
Decorated with callouses

Strings so unforgiving
Keys haunting ears
All across the country
They will be heard
With Brilliance abundant

Echoing, now, off walls of cement
Lull you to sleep, sleep with your heart
Your painted, faded, cherished heart
Sleep
