He is the man I love

There is a man I love
He is not a boy
And was not one when I met him
But he is perfect the way he is
He sweeps me off my feet
Making me feel like no one can hurt me
My heart never hurts around him
And the wounds I once used to bear
Now only show scars
My heart is his to hold as his is to mine
He is my world
And my everything
I love him so much
Nothing threatens us
We prove all the others wrong
For one very simple reason
He is the man I love
