I was born. It was born. So it began. It continues. It will outlive me. People whisper, stare, giggle. Their eternal privilege. My eternal curse-Joyce Carol Oates

Love is my background
Alluring as such...
It is bitter cold and unrelenting
I can feel the heat that is its cost, a price I cannot afford
You do not know what it is
Twisted, disparaged masterpiece
Ageless and frozen in a soliloquy of lust
Oh, how I urge
Impossible to control it is...like a raging hurricane
Dangerous addiction..
Strong as to cease wars, drive the sane mad,
If abused, tried and domesticated
It will kill you, pain worse than any silver bullet
It is impossible to control...I desire it
It haunts me, and whispers
I turn and it is not there
I need it, it abandons me
What is left to do, but grieve
Love is twisted, you do not know what it is
Seduced by surface value...
You look not underneath,
It will turn on you, and nothing will be left
It will strip you of your morals, and confusion settles
Clouded, no words escape
Only a stifle
