I wonder what would happen
If I saw you through someone else’s eyes
I wonder if I would love
The way I do now
You make me feel happy
You make me feel alive
I used to feel like
I wasn’t good enough
I wasn’t pretty enough
For no one
Would ever love me
I felt like knives were
Stabbing my heart
Knives out
You let them leave
You told me you loved me
The scars are slowly healing
Your lips are slowly moving closer
I love you
I hope you never leave
But one day you might
I will feel agitated, angry
But now
My love for you
Is unconditional
