Hide and Seek

People start to wonder
What that is I am doing
I am hiding like when
You have no friends it feels like you don’t belong
You feel lonely and so you hide
When I can’t handle hiding anymore
I begin to wonder
I try to think positive but I am not
I try to fit in, but I don’t
People just keep staring
I start to think do I need to fit in?
Should I act like someone different?
I start to wonder

People start to smile
People act normal
I am seeking
It feels like being normal
You feel alive and happy
When I finally reach the top of seeking
I finally fit in
I can look at life positively
People can

Laugh


Smile



And talk
I think I am a regular person
But seeking sure feels good when it’s found
But that is not how I feel
I still feel like that girl who walks the halls alone
