Well I am lead
You were transparent.
You were the void
Unfilled, vacant.
I had a habitat, my feet touched ground
You had a habit of
Floating away.
I kept stings attached and you laughed
When my point of view changed.
I was petrified, stiff
Nails to my skin
You were the achromatic glow
Dancing on my eyelids when I
Tried to keep them closed.
I was domestic, tasteless
You were clove then carmel
Erratic, unable to be savored
Unfit for restraint.
You were cold, distant
I filled my pores with sweat
In attempt to move but you
You were phlegmatic,
and numbed the truth.
You were the abstract line
On my companionless slate.
You were the backwoods
The black cat
My phantom.
I was existence and you were
The heavens.
