A Beautiful Curse

A long time ago, she sat on a perfect gold throne
The most beautiful girl in the world
With no home to call her own
Beauty from her head down to her toes
Eyes as deep and blue as the sea
She had lips the color of a rose

Eyelashes like black lace,
Skin soft like satin,
Feathery hair framed her face

In the finest jewels and exquisite gown,
She sat silently, lonely
Finery and perfection masked her frown

She never aged,
Was never free
But always caged.
She sat atop the universe,
Waiting, watching, wanting
Beauty was the curse.

Not really anything to explain. Just thought of it one day- what if you were seen and not heard? What would you do? How would you feel? Even the most beautiful people feel lonely.

this may not be a quote but i really love the lyrics-Trust in me the way I trusted you I know we could have done this together If you believed in me like I believed in you My heart would be forever in your hands-all that remains-forever in your hands

that really makes you think alot because well, people think that beautiful people get all the attention, but is it really that they get the attention? or are they just blinded? really like it

check some of my stuff out too i think you would enjoy it
