I just need some time to find me,
lock myself in my minds keep,
climb to the highest peak of understanding inner peace
away from the constant heat of every day life,
for which I strive is unknown but as human I'm prone

o forget the very reason I sit and write

hough I now realize it is to be free of the stress,
reak away from the hazy repetition of life
as I follow the same routine everyday as if blithe
wondering if there is just a might that the blitz of
life will suddenly become bliss
and for once I will be able to stop and sit
ut I've also learned to put myself on a shelf
ecause in this world you have to please everyone else,
as erosion slowly works at my soul I become young and old
I try to stop the process but I'm far too slow
all I can do is sit back and watch as I grow accustom to custom
ut then again this is a must and is just another
phase of an endless parade of sameness

ow shameless because I am like everyone else,
I've joined the parade
